Only 10% of buyers have the ability to envision themselves in a home.  Home Staging helps buyers see the home's space and its use without seeing someone else's personality.  Home Staging involves using placement of furniture and accessories in a way that maximizes the positive selling aspects of the home.  Buyers won't have to imagine the home's potential - it will be obvious from the first visit.  Visual appeal is essential in maximizing the price you receive for your home and the expedience with which you can sell your home.


 


As a real estate professional, my job is to showcase your home. Studies show that staged homes sell more quickly than un-staged properties.  Today’s buyers preview photos of homes before making the visit.  Therefore, the photos of the rooms need to be inviting, stylish and appealing.  Staging can meet all these goals.  


 


National Association of Realtors conducted research regarding home staging - here are a few of the findings: 


 



  • Only 28% of listing agents stage ALL of their sellers' homes




  • When staging a home, 22% of sellers’ agents reported an increase of 1-5% of the dollar value offered by buyers, in comparison to similar homes.




  • Only 15% of listing agents pay to stage their seller's homes.




  • 17% percent of respondents stated that staging a home increased the dollar value of the home between 6 - 10%.




  • 83%  percent of buyers’ agents said staging a home made it easier for a buyer to visualize the property as a future home.




  • Buyers were more willing to walk through a home they saw online (38%) and buyers’ agents identified that staging would positively impact the home value if the home was decorated to a buyer’s taste (37%).
